The
Action Team meets at noon on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
The meetings are held at the Charburger Restaurant in Cascade
Locks and are open to the public. Citizens are encouraged
to attend these meetings and welcome to participate in the
discussions.
The
Mission of the Action Team is to promote and encourage economic
development of Cascade Locks, especially implementation
of the Wa Na Pa 2004 Downtown Development Plan.
The
Action Team has evolved over the past several years into
a collaboration between citizens and officials of Cascade
Locks and representatives from many federal, state and neighboring
local entities, such as Bonneville Power Administration
(BPA), the Columbia River Gorge Commission, the Oregon Department
of Transportation (ODOT), Skamania County Chamber of Commerce,
Hood River County, Port of Cascade Locks, the West Columbia
Gorge Chamber of Commerce, and the Hood River School District.
